We were so lucky this place was opened. The food was amazing. The waiter was very cordial, happy to provide Italian or English menu (I prefer Italian), and answer any questions. The dessert was the best I had on this trip. I wish we could go back, but it was closed on Tuesday.
Before last evening's Sting concert my husband and I decided on a supper location unlike our more frequent informal bistro find. This restaurant was so delicious and with foods that we both have really missed living now in rural Italy. A salad full of fresh lettuces, tomatoes and oil and balsamic vinegar whose brand I know to be of highest quality. An aged Parmigiano with a fruit compote.. Fabulous taste combination. Fresh bread, breadsticks to start and the roast beef for me and filet for my husband. Magnificent. Our waiter was knowledgeable, welcoming and helped make for a very memorable meal.
Nxt time we visit Mantova it will be in cooler temperatures with no concert to drag us away. We will dine there longer and enjoy some new finds on the menu.
